The plot is basically very simple. The narrator is Nick Carraway, who arrives in the United States.

Stormy twentieth! Age of female calves zadýhaných jazz age of technological progress and the profound social differences, years of loose morals and Prohibition. The American paradox Francis Scott Fitzgerald began writing in mid-1924. He spent time on the French Riviera or Paris, where he met with Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein and others who considered themselves part of the lost generation. The Great Gatsby is the third novel Fitzgeraldovým. hl7 orc Porpvé appeared in New York in 1925 and was honored by both critics and readers. Still stands hl7 orc at the head of the literary treasures of the twentieth century and is also known for creating the very top of Fitzgerald.
The plot is basically very simple. The narrator is Nick Carraway, who arrives in the United States. You are willing to invest in securities business, but who do not understand even a little bit. His neighbor is a wealthy Jay Gatsby, with which he soon befriends. Gatsby asks him about arranging a meeting with his cousin Daisy he loves, but who is married to Tom Buchanan. But marriage is not happy, Buchanan has a mistress Myrtle. It begins as a love čtyřúhleník that ends tragically.
I was surprised how short the book was. I devoured it on the bus on the way between Stockholm and Jönköping, which was perhaps a mistake. The Great Gatsby is a book, in which it has a lot to figure out, engage your imagination and come to terms with the fact that you author nenaservíruje everything to the nose. Which gave me a little violators. I'm just glad when I submitted all the shovel. Maybe it's a bit ignorant, but what!
The story line is not too original, but what I liked was the way the author hl7 orc captured the period in which the story is set. Twenties not extremely do not, but I certainly interested hl7 orc in Fitzgerald's filing.
Another disappointment hl7 orc for me were the characters. No - not even the alias Jay Gatz Great Gatsby - not left in me deeper impression. From the linguistic point of view, my book also seemed difficult, some sentences I had to read twice, I never understood what the author wanted to say.
Entirely voluntarily and freely admit that this book simply can not be overstated. It certainly was for me not book, from which you can not look away. Anyway, but included in the list of those to whom I look for a couple of years back. Maybe I'll understand the magic that the other has, and I still did not appear. So far, so three stars.
